I will be traveling to the Washington D.C. area next week to attend the opening reception for “Artistic. Autistic. A Life Ahead” an exhibition in collaboration with Madison House Autism Foundation and Johns Hopkins University. The opening reception will be held March 29th at 7 PM at the Montgomery County Campus. I am looking forward to establishing stronger relationships and developing new partnerships in the D.C autism community.
The three photographs included from the Evidence and Artifacts: Facing Autism collection have been modified from their original presentation. The bitmapping process that I am employing is a return to the visual representation of enviromental toxicity originally created for Evidence and Artifacts: Particle Matter 2.5. The rhythmic digital imprinting artificially superimposes physical evidence of the ubiquitous and complex toxic assault impacting human health and development.
